Mr. Ulan Abylgaziev has joined ICD in 2006 and currently serves as the Division Head of Line of Financing in the Banking department at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of Private Sector (ICD). With over 20 years of experience in developmental banking and finance, he specializes in SME financing, corporate and project finance, portfolio management, and credit risk assessment. Additionally, he has vast experience managing and administering large infrastructure projects funded by international financial institutions. Prior to joining ICD, Mr. Abylgaziev worked as a Project Officer at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) for a year. His career began in 1999 as a Project Manager at the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, where he worked for nearly 6 years. Mr. Abylgaziev holds a bachelor's degree in Agro-Engineering from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Academy, a diploma in Civil Engineering from Kyrgyz State University, and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. He furthered his education by completing a Master of Business Administration at IE Business School in Spain in 2015.
