Mr. Ayman Sayed Marei graduated from the the American University in Cairo (AUC) University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor degree Economics and Minor in Political Science. He also has studied in the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and holds an MBA diploma from Maastricht School of Management (MSM), Holland. With nearly 30 years of experience in investment and finance, Mr. Ayman Sayed Marei currently serves as a Principal in the Non-Banking Investment Division (NBI) under the Equity Department (ED) at the ICD (a member of IsDB Group). Prior to joining ICD, he held positions such as Head of Research at the Coldwell Banker-Middle East Branch (Egypt), Head of Portfolio Management at the Financial Services Company (Sultanate of Oman), Investment Manager at Amzaan Investments (United Arab Emirates), Head of Research Department at Investia Holdings for Financial Services (Egypt), owner of Ohod Investment & Financial Consultants (Egypt), and Senior Associate at H.C. Securities & Investment (a Morgan Stanley associate) in Egypt. Mr. Marei has extensive knowledge and experience in the leasing sphere and has served as a member of the Boards of Directors of several international leasing companies, including Arab Leasing Company (Sudan, since 2009 until 2021), Albania Leasing Company (Albania, 2014-2017), Halic Leasing Company (Turkey, 2018-2021), and TAIBA Leasing (Uzbekistan, 2010-2012). He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Enmaa Leasing Company (Egypt, since April 2015), Ijara Company Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyzstan, since 2018), and Kazakhstan Ijara Company (Kazakhstan, since 2018).
